lessons for gentlemen: science says grow a beard.

beard man

World Observer reports today that a study done by the University of Southern Queensland has shown significant esthetic, manly, and healthful benefits to a well-groomed man beard.

The “duhs” resound from mountainmen and gentlemen alike worldwide.

The benefits of beards:

  • Beards block 90 to 95 percent of UV rays, thereby slowing the aging process and reducing the risk of skin cancer
  • Pollens and dust simply get stuck in that lustrous facial hair
  • Beards retain moisture and protect against the wind, keeping you looking young
  • Shaving is usually the cause of ingrown hairs and bacterial infections that lead to acne

But be forewarned. Beards can also spread infection if not properly cared for and can make consumption of anything sloppy (anything that tastes delicious) fairly tediuous.

Gentlemen would be prudent to utilize beard wash and beard oil this patron saint of youthful manliness
